Here is info on what a Mei Tai is and how it is used. I have never used a Mei Tai, but after much research I discovered that this type of carrier is really great at distributing the weight of a baby or toddler. I am really happy about that because right now I am using this. It is great and I have been using it for months but if I wear it for more than 30 minutes it KILLS my back. I am really looking forward to trying something that won't hurt my back and is usable on my front or back.
So wish me luck that this carrier is the best thing ever =)

My toddler-carrying days are over... my kids are 5, 7, and 10... we were pretty much Clan Baby Bjorn for a long time.

Oohh... you'll love it, esp. since it has a bit of padding! Amie and Lizzie are both pros at tying babies on, so if you need some pointers, bring it on Tues! :) It's super pretty too--ooohh la la!

I think you will love this much more than the other sling. I had one similar with my first and it was hard to wear for very long.
I have a hotslings now, but want a mei tai sooo bad.
