Contest Time

Okay Dear Readers,

Apparently my pleas for you to leave me comments have fallen on deaf ears. So in order to motivate you to leave me a comment I am going to run a contest with prizes and everything =)

Let me give you some back story to the contest. The G-town Marathon Running Peeps (not to be confused with the L5PS Marathon Running Peeps) like to eat eggs after they do their long runs on the weekend. So this past Saturday Dad and Evie and I went to the Awful Waffle (aka Waffle House) to have eggs. Mom wasn't there cuz she was in Indy visiting her friends. Well Dad and I ordered the same thing but I got my eggs over easy and Dad got his scrambled. This difference in egg preference surprised Dad and he asked me if that was my preferred egg preparation choice. Well dear readers, yes it is true, I prefer over easy eggs with a very liquidy yoke. To Dad's further surprise I didn't even eat the white part of my eggs. Yes, I am a yoke only eater of over easy eggs. So this egg incident got me thinking, how does everyone else I know like their eggs??

Enter the contest concept. The first 5 people to leave me a comment stating their preferred egg preparation method will get a prize. What prize you ask? A handmade by me shrinky dink egg themed charm. Said charm can be put on a necklace, key chain, a long string which hangs from your rear view mirror, anywhere you want. I only ask one thing dear readers, display your egg charms with pride! =)

And here's an example of what your charm could look like!

ROFL

You CRACK me up with the egg stuff. (no pun intended!)

All right Heather! Even though you didn't leave an egg preference you get a shrinky dink for the awesome pun =)
And by the way dear readers, each charm will be personalized for each winner. Heather I think a pregnant egg charm might be coming your way ;)

LOL

Just don't put any fertility dust on that charm. Pregnant eggs are ok, just as long as I don't end up pregnant. ;)

Hi Jen, my preference is eggs over easy as well, but they must come ON TOP of the home fries in order to cut them up with the bacon in what I refer to as the "succotash method" of consuming my breakfast.

Bill prefers an egg beater omelette with sausage.

Finally, we prefer to get breakfast "take out style" from the Parkside Diner!

(does this mean we get TWO charms???)

I love the "succotash method"!! I too am a sucotasher, I will do it with hashbrowns or toast, bacon usually on the side ;)

And yes two charms are coming your way Mimi and Grandpop =)

I'm thinking a beach egg for Mimi and a presidential egg for Grandpop.

Note: Egg designs are subject to change without notice. =)

Ok, I'm late in responding, but I was out of town; so, it does not count that I'm late.
I much prefer my eggs over medium. I don't like the white part to be runny; I only like the yoke to be runny.
I have a trick for making over medium eggs. If you want to know the trick, send me an email at mboshears@gmail.com.
Oh, BTW, Evie is the cutiest girl egg I ever saw. Big kisses to Evie.

Okay so we now have a fourth winner, my Mom =)

I like over medium too, but I don't really care how the white part is because I don't eat it =)

I think my Mom gets a Goat Egg =)

Eggs - I like scrambled, over easy, deviled (only mom's recipe). Sometimes I like eggs on toast, and sometimes I like ham crumbles in my scrambled eggs. I usually add salt and pepper. The incredible edible egg...oh my, Jen do you remember those aprons?

Yay!! An out of towner (and non family) is in the winners circle! I am so glad to see my best bud on the comment train, whoot whoot! =)

For Lady Day I will make an Almond Egg ;)

Or a Breakfast Club Egg ;) LOL!!

I like mine over easy, and not one speck of the white can be runny, and the yolk better be runny, and the white better not be burnt at any spot. I'm hard to please. It's worse with my coffee!

almonds are good if they are cinnamon roasted :)

I ended up getting a Breakfast Club shrinky dink. Beautiful.
